Francesca Fioravanti

Francesca Fioravanti is a soprano from Wilmington, Delaware. She has sung both solo and ensemble performances in the United States, Austria, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, and the United Kingdom.
Francesca began her graduate education in Classical Vocal Performance at NYU in 2021, where she has been studying with Jamilyn Manning-White. Throughout her second semester, she performed in operatic scenes from Don Giovanni, Die Zauberflöte, and Le nozze di Figaro. Francesca performed with the Vienna Summer Music Festival in Vienna, Austria in 2022 where she sang the role of the Baker/Beggar in the European premiere of Paul Richard’s Mondo Novo. She has covered the roles of Zerlina in Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro.
In December 2022, Francesca made her NYU Opera debut as Belinda in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas. She also performed in the ensemble as well as covered the role of Ilia in NYU’s 2023 Spring production of Mozart’s Idomeneo.
In May 2023, Francesca graduated Summa cum Laude with a Masters in Vocal Performance: Classical Voice from New York University.
Recently, Francesca performed the role of Morgana in Handel’s Alcina in Tarnowskie Góry, Poland at the Handel Opera Academy in July 2023. This Fall, Francesca will perform the role of Christine Daaé in the Delaware Ardensingers’ production of Pantos of the Opera.
In Spring 2024, Francesca will perform in the chorus for OperaDelaware’s production of Puccini’s Turandot. In the Summer, she will perform the role of Meg March in the musical, Little Women at the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival.
