Elliot Yuheng Lim began his violin studies at the age of 4 at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts School of Young Talents. He is currently continuing his musical education under Cindy Yan at RAMP. Elliot’s dedication and talent were recognized early on, as he became one of the youngest violinists accepted into the prestigious 2022 Heifetz Summer Program and the 2023 and 2024 Sounding Point Academy at the Colburn School.
In 2023, Elliot earned 4th place at the 3rd Yokohama International Violin Competition, an achievement that highlighted his growing presence in the international music scene. He was also awarded Gold in the Solo category at the Singapore Raffles International Music Festival (SRIMF), performing above his age group. This accomplishment led to an invitation to perform at the SRIMF Gala Concert in 2024.
Elliot has further honed his skills through masterclasses with world-renowned musicians, including Kevin Zhu, Nancy Zhou, Itzhak Rashkovsky, and Dr. Robin Wilson. These experiences have been invaluable in shaping his approach to technique and musical interpretation, helping him refine his craft and expand his performance repertoire.
