Third Radda Rise International Piano Competition
13-year-old pianist Chloe Ding is from San Jose, California. She began learning piano at the age of 4 with her grandfather and currently studies with Kai Chi Zhu.
Chloe has won multiple awards and recognitions in piano competitions. Some of her recent accomplishments include 1st place in the 2022 CAPMT Contemporary Competition State Final, 1st place in the Bach Category of the 2022 New Star Piano Competition, 2nd place in the Concerto Category (2022) and 1st place in the Bach Category (2021) of the United States International Music Competition, 1st place in the 2021 Great Masters International Piano Competition, 2nd place in the 2021 Piano Star Competition, Henle Piano Competition, Young Euregio Piano Award Competition and 1st place in multiple categories of the Great Composer Competition Series and United States Open Music Competition along with several others.
Chloe is an active member of the Valley Christian Junior High School music community, where she served as the pianist in the VCJH chamber group as well as accompanist for the school’s string group. Aside from piano, Chloe enjoys singing, dancing and traveling. She started taking vocal and ballet training from a young age.
