Denise received her first piano lesson at the age of four and started playing the violin at the age of six. She has already obtained first prizes in several violin competitions, not only in Germany, e.g. Jugend Musiziert 2014, 2016 and 2019, but also first prize at Concorso Internazionale di Musica Citta Stresa in Italy. She made her first orchestra debut at the age of nine with Bergischen Symphoniker (Symphonieorchestra of Bergischland). Since then, she has also played with other orchestras like Neue Philarmonie Westfahlen. At the age of ten, she was accepted to the Precollege Cologne, an institute belonging to Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln (Music Academy Cologne) for highly talented children.
