Fiona Huang

16-year-old cellist Fiona Huang is currently studying under Jonathan Koh at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music Pre-College.

In 2024, she was recognized as a YoungArts winner and has earned first prize in several prestigious competitions, including the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) State Competition, the Burlingame Music Club Competition, and the Nova Vista Symphony Young Artist Competition.
Fiona has participated in several renowned summer festivals, refining her skills under the guidance of esteemed faculty and collaborating with fellow young musicians. These festivals include the Chamber Music Northwest Young Artist Institute, Music@Menlo, Meadowmount School of Music, Encore Summer Academy, and the Heifetz Institute.

She was featured on NPR’s From the Top, showcasing her talent to a national audience. As a soloist, Fiona has performed with esteemed orchestras such as the Palo Alto Philharmonic, the Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, and the Holy Names University Orchestra. This fall, she will be featured as a soloist with the Nova Vista Symphony.
