At just 10 years old, Elsa Rosemond is already making significant strides in the musical world, showcasing her exceptional vocal skills and musical versatility. Born and raised in New York City, she has been immersed in an environment that nurtures and celebrates artistic talents, allowing her early music career to flourish.
From a very young age, Elsa exhibited a deep passion for music, dreaming of becoming a pop star. This dream was not just a fleeting childhood fantasy; it was a heartfelt aspiration that she pursued with dedication. Her journey into music began with vocal and piano lessons under the tutelage of Jen Fiorese, followed by guitar lessons with Giacomo Merega for the past three years. She has also explored the flute for six months and is a member of the United Nations International Middle School Orchestra.
Elsa's singing has led her to participate in several notable competitions and performances. She showcased her vocal abilities in the 2023 NATS-NYC Student Auditions in New York. Her stage presence was further highlighted in her lead female role as Katherine in "Newsies" at the United Nations International School Theatre, where she performed a solo of "Watch What Happens" by Alan Menken. Additionally, Elsa has been a vibrant part of the Lucia Choir in 2022 and 2023, where she performed solos in addition to collaborative performances.
Aside from her musical endeavours, Elsa enjoys a range of activities that complement her artistic pursuits. She is keen on organizing, practices Krav Maga, and loves spending time with her friends and family. Additionally, she cherishes moments spent playing with her dog and having movie nights.
