Chris Grijalva resides in Pittsburgh, where he serves as the Second Trombone in the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra. Originally from Houston, Mr. Grijalva earned his Bachelor’s degree at the University of Southern California under Terry Cravens, where he studied voice as well as trombone, and his Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University with Peter Sullivan. While at CMU, Mr. Grijalva was the featured soloist with the Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble in a performance of Hector Berlioz’ Funeral and Triumphal Symphony.
