Dylan Dominguez earned both a Bachelor’s in piano performance and Russian language from the University of Arizona in May of 2018. Dylan studied with Professor Tannis Gibson at the Fred Fox School of Music from 2014-2018. He enjoys playing the music of Beethoven, Shostakovich, Rachmaninov, Kabalevsky, Ives, Chopin, and Liszt. He was the recipient of the Fred Fox School of Music’s Fine Arts Tuition Award, 2014-2016, the 2015 and 2016 Michael Moore Memorial Prize for Best Undergraduate Performance in the Lois Trester Piano Competition, the 2015 Medici Scholar Award to pursue his musical studies during the summer of 2015 at the Rebecca Penneys Piano Festival in Florida, and Music Festival Perugia, Italy 2015. Previous instructors whom Dylan studied with include Dr. Kim Hayashi, and Dr. June Chow-Tyne. Dylan is a tenacious performer and instructor with high interests in continuing his music pursuits.
