Jeannie Gagné M.A. is an award winning singer, songwriter, pianist, guitarist, author, and professor of voice at Berklee College of Music. Throughout her long career she has taught tens of thousands of singers to use their voices effectively to maximize their potential. She has been called “a songbird” who is “highly respected in the world of music” (Lauren Kinhan, NY Voices). A leading educator in vocal anatomy and health, and a classically trained soprano, she is also expert in several contemporary styles such as pop/rock, jazz, R&B/soul, blues, and singer/songwriter. Her flexible method provides students with a solid foundation in vocal technique, styles, improvisation, and discovering their authenticity. Her long list of performing credits includes Philip Glass, Bare Naked Ladies, Cher, NBC-TV, George Duke, Terri Lynn Carrington, SNL drummer Shawn Pelton, and dozens more; appearances on several recordings, movies, television and radio; and three solo albums featuring her original works. She is president of SoundationVox.com which offers focused workshops for vocalists at all levels. She travels both nationally and globally to share her expertise and to perform.
