Born in Perth, Western Australia I began learning piano at the age of 7 and the violin at 8. I quickly took to the violin and was offered a specialist music scholarship to Churchlands Senior High School. Whilst in high school I was a member of the West Australian Youth Orchestra, achieved my associate diploma of music and was concertmaster of the Symphony & Chamber Orchestras on the 2015 Churchlands European Music Tour. In the same year I was awarded Music Dux & Top Instrumental Student.

Following high school I began studying my Bachelor of Music (Performance) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music under the tutelage of Alice Waten. At the Conservatorium I was awarded several scholarships/prizes and had the opportunity to perform throughout Australia & Europe. In 2019 I was an active participant in the Mozarteum Summer Academy in Salzburg, and had the opportunity to learn with Barnabas Keleman.
